This entry is for those looking to upgrade to a iMac 20 or 24. First is…make sure that you purchase the “AppleCare Protection Plan”. It’s worth the price because you’ll most likely run into some hardware issues after the 1st year. Specifically, look for VIDEO RAM issue. I’m on my 2nd iMac and I’ve had same VIDEO RAM issue on both after 15 month of use. Don’t get me wrong — I love my iMac and I would recommend it over a PC. BTW, I’m getting the VIDEO RAM replaced on my iMac this week. With AppleCare Protection Plan, it was really simple getting a replacement RAM.

Wow! Just saw Palin deliver her speech at the republican convention and…she hit it out of the park. Democrats better watch out. I think she’ll really bring the republican base together and possibly pull in some support from the soccer moms (hockey as well). I had my reservations, but I see why McCain picked her. If she comes thru on the campaign like see did tonight…she may be able to beat Obama her self.

I’m really looking toward October debate between biden and palin. I think palin may clean biden’s clock.

what the heck is up with the media? They are really out to get Sarah Palin. Another news popped up today that she wrote a letter to alaskan state police commissioner criticizing a trooper (apparently the trooper in question was divorcing her sister or something)….I say so What! Obama is friends with a known american terrorist and a follower of racist preacher. Why don’t you snoop on that and start reporting on that in detail. why do they have such hate for republicans. I don’t get it. Someone please enlighten me why the media has to be so bias?

I wouldn’t bring this up if I saw the same coverage and scrutiny on both republicans and democrats.

Last couple days, I’ve read trash thrown at Palin and her family. Stuff about her hubby getting a DUI (DWI) over 20 years ago and Palin’s 17 year old daughter being pregnant, etc. Obama and his cronies must be really scared of what Palin brings to McCain’s campaign. Let me remind the democrats about Obama’s past.

Is it okay to do cocain and who knows what else (Obama), but not okay drink one too many beers as a 20 something and do something stupid like driving? Both are stupid.

Is it okay to associate with a known homegrown terrorist (bill ayers), but not okay to have a naive 17 year old get pregnant? At least Palin’s 17 year old will take responsibility for her action. Obama still hasn’t denounced his relationship with bill ayers.

Obama picks Biden for VP? Biden is the guy who called Obama inexperienced and not ready for the presidency - said that no OTJT (on-the-job-training) for the presidency. But, Obama goes and picks him. How funny. I guess because McCain has been cleaning his clock on the national security issues, Obama tapped Biden to fill the national security gap for him. So, will tapping Biden for the VP spot help? I don’t think so. Biden is an ASS - Biden has major flaws. In the 87 presidential campaign, he ran into serious trouble when he was caught of plagiarizing a speech by then-leader of the British Labour Party. Press had also discovered that Biden had plagiarized a law review article. So we know he copies other people’s shit - HE IS LAZY. Also, he is not the brightest cat. He grades college were mostly C, D, and F’s - Oh Ya…he got A’s in phys ed. hahaha. I can go on about Biden’s baggage, but I’ll spare you the pain. If I were Obama, I would have swallowed my pride and chose Hillary. (I’m not a Hillary fan, but if I were Obama…). It’s going to be a close race. McCain vs. Obama. Who will win. Don’t count out McCain. I think there are many unknowns for Obama and much will be revealed over next few months.

So I read that Yahoo may merge with AOL and for the merger Time Warner would make an investment to Yahoo. Yahoo is also working on a ad deal with Google. Humm… Sounds kinda dumb, but Yahoo is doing whatever possible to keep Microsoft off their back.

Let’s see what happens in next 3 weeks. My bet is on Microsoft.

I just read that Microsoft has given Yahoo a 3 weed deadline on the merger. If merger terms are not met by Yahoo by the deadline, Microsoft will begin a proxy fight.

Say good-bye to Yahoo. (I guess I should be happy… for I’m a M$FT shareholder)
